WomenOfWednesday: Chelsea Clinton

This isn't a post about politics; this is about an amazing young woman. If you haven't read this interview with Chelsea Clinton for Vogue magazine, you must. Like right now. Seriously, go read it. Love or hate the Clintons, you have to respect the amazing daughter they've raised.

I love how polished Clinton is today, but I have even more respect for her awkward years as a White House teen. Looking at the frame hanging on my grandma's wall that holds all 13 of my school pictures is reminder enough that I can definitely relate.

MondayMust: Mustard pieces for fall

My favorite color combination is currently mustard with a side of anything. I bought these slim, ankle-length trousers at Target last week for $20. They're technically called "Toffee" on the website, but look much more mustard in reality. Let the outfit obsessing begin.

SundaySnapshots: Friends and family

Today I finally got around the toning and posting some photos I took back in February and June. I  know, I'm so on top of things.

SundayStuff: Fun stuff

Sunday is a day I devote to doing nothing. It's not my Christian upbringing, but rather my laziness and tendency toward self indulgence.

There's nothing more enjoyable than drinking an entire pot of Ethiopian roasted coffee while languidly page through the newspaper and circulars. Sunday afternoons seem designed for catching up on television and catnaps missed throughout the week. The evening lends itself perfectly to either creating a fantastic meal or simply ordering one in. The hours before bed are best spent with a book or pile of magazines. I mean, seriously. Sunday is really the only day in which you can get through an entire issue of The New Yorker.

But more than anything, browsing the internet and catalogs for stuff I don't really need is my idea of a good time. So here you are. Enjoy your lazy Sunday:

Who doesn't need one of these?:

Backyard Scrabble? What a splendid way to spend future Sundays.:

I'm not a big T-shirt fan, but you can't really make a fashion mistake with this:

A jellyfish aquarium? Obviously a must.:

A bike planter? Why not.:

A doodle duvet sounds like a productive excuse for not getting out of bed on Sundays.:

Well, I might as well drink some wine while I'm at it.:

WardrobeWednesday: Fall fashion

I know, I know. It's a bit early to dream about fall, but it's my favorite season.

I love warm colors, layers, scarves, boots and tights.

Here's to hoping temperatures settle out around 60 to 70 for the next couple of months.
